More Gambling Winnings

I wasn't planning on making too much from gambling, but I have decided to always have 10% of my poker nights using double up money. I played last night for $5 a game. I lost the first game, but ended up winning the second game after slow playing a set of queens. Awesome. So that's $20 winnings minus $10 of entry fees for a total of $10. 10% of that is $1. Yipee! So now I'm $4 up from poker.

New Laptop and 54 cents!

Awesome! My wife got me a used laptop for Christmas! Now I can do double-up stuff anywhere. Hopefully my post count goes up after this. On another bright note, but of substancially less goodness, I found 54 cents over the holidays. Not bad for just keeping an eye out. Have a great new years everyone and if you get really drunk then you can click on the donation button on the left. I won't turn any amount away!

Cheers!

Sold a Second Spreadsheet!

The guy ended up throwing his back out so he wanted to do paypal instead, which means I got hit by paypal and had to pay for the CD I burned. That's ok. Hopefully I can sell it to someone. After ebay fees, that adds another $7.22 to my stake. It's nice to be in the 30's again. Yipee!

Lots of stuff going on

Someone e-mailed me today about my spreadsheet and is supposed to swing by and buy it tomorrow for $8. He wants it on a CD, so I had to buy a CD from myself for $1.25 to burn it. Also, paypal made a small deposit of 15 cents into my account to link up the bank account. As far as I can tell, they didn't take this out of my money, so it's going straight into my double-up along with a penny I found. Unfortunately, the google advertising fee came in, but it was only $0.45. I still haven't made a dime on this stuff, but I still have faith. All it will take is one sale to put me back in the black on this one (except for the e-book i bought). Hopefully the guy comes through tomorrow.

I also tried setting up my first e-bay auction for the spreadsheet, but it didn't work. They say my paypal is not a verified account, but it is, so I'm not sure what to do now. I can't seem to find any sort of support e-mail address for e-bay. Maybe it takes a few days before they can see that it is a verified account???

The other thing that is up is that I started an advertising blog for my spreadsheet so I can point to it so I don't have to pay extra e-bay fees for extra pictures, etc. Check it out here: http://financialspreadsheet.blogspot.com

Gamble Your way to a Million!

I went to a poker night the other night and decided that 10% of anything I wager or win will go towards (or take from) my double up project. We played 3 $10 games, which is $3 of double up money. I lost the first game, but came second the second game, where I won $20 and came first in the third game, where I won $40! So I made a profit of $30, which is a $3 profit for my double up project! Yee haw! Me thinks I have a lot more games to play if I only won $3 on a reasonably successful night.

Donate with Paypal!

Good news for all of you out there who can't get to sleep worrying about how i am going to reach my next level. now you can click the Paypal donate link to the left and donate whatever you want to help me reach my goal. Ok, how many of you out there bought that load of baloney? LOL. Well, although you may not be losing sleep, I sure won't turn away any donations if you feel like it. I'm not expecting any revenue from this, but I figured it's worth a shot, especially since I seem to have stalled so much.
